run with the horses

this is a book based on the life of Jeremiah.  written by Eugene Peterson, the translator of The Message {... who also happens to live here in Montana...}

years ago, my life and heart were deeply moved and stirred due to a remarkable encounter with Jeremiah 1.  i was deep in fear and inadequacy and God met me clearly, giving me this chapter in scripture to speak truth to my heart.  i was very excited to find this book and dive in.

it is a convicting and inspiring look at the life of a man, a prophet, called by God to speak truth into the lives of the people around him. i'm loving it! plus, i really like the cover:)
