proverbs 15:1
'...a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger'
when i respond in patience and humility, with a sweet-tempered tone of voice, to a comment made by someone else, whether that comment was laced with sarcasm, criticism, frustration or antagonism (which can sometimes be concealing hurt, pain or confusion), i am doing my part as a peace-maker to diffuse what could very easily become an otherwise explosive situation.
it stands to reason then, that if i react to remarks with a negative, sarcastic, impatient and otherwise high-and-mighty tone of voice, i'm sure to be doing my part to provoke an argument....and effectively tear down the other person, rather than build them up.

I would like to start this message by saying that I'm not a Christian in the traditional sense of the word.I believe as Jesus did. I digress. This message is to inform you that your efforts to be a conduit for the Creative Spirit, from which all true and good things emanate, is humbling, inspiring, and awesome. I thank God for you. The music and good will that you have shared with the World has helped to substain a lot of spirits struggling to deal with the illusions that are inherent in experiencing a corporeal existence. You are a guideing light and, your songs and actions have led many wandering souls back to the path of righteouness. You have taught me that individual weakness doesn't mean that we can't be strong through the power of Gods'love. Thank you for being you. I pray for continued blessings for you and your progeny, and may your name forever be blessed. Thank you for having the courage, desire, and the disposition to be a conduit for the glory of God.
