i'm grateful for my mom. for the lessons i learned from her as a young person, and the lessons i'm continuing to learn from her example today.
i watched her serve faithfully alongside my dad as a devoted pastors wife, gifted musician, pianist, organist, choir director and accompanist to countless soloists and groups. i doubt most of them truly knew the depth of talent they were so blessed to have access to. and, amazingly, she is still doing it all today!! always willing (and believe me, there were many days that i'm sure i was not her favorite student or soloist to accompany!) to change keys or tempos or arrangements. well, willing to hear your ideas anyway... hers were usually better.
i believe with all my heart that i would not be the vocalist or musician i am today were it not for her diligence and patience.

i love you, mom. and i'm truly thankful that God put you in my life, and me in yours.

That was beautiful, I thank the Lord for my mom too. If it wasn't for her I would have never known the lord. The unconditional love she expresses to me has helped me see Jesus in that same light. Thank you for sharing! :)
